Distribution of clothes to homeless people
Houses of homeless people are usually located near stations or roads, where the wind always blows and they live on many streets. They have to face this sun, rain, winter. Eid-ul-Fitr is a day of joy for Muslims. Before Eid-ul-Fitr, everyone buys new clothes and rejoices, which we distribute among the poor and miserable people, they are happy and protected from sun, rain and cold.
We have volunteers from different units, 20 volunteers including myself implemented the project. Distribution of clothes was held among these homeless people in Shantinagar area. We raised funds internally, formed committees to buy food and clothes for homeless people and organized into groups of 1 led by a leader. Before the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, we have distributed clothes to the needy, through which they can celebrate their Eid beautifully.
I learned more about the plight of poor people who are homeless and live on the streets amidst intense sun, rain and storms. They do not have the necessary clothes to live in the harsh environment, as a result of which they suffer from various hardships and difficulties. I helped them through the project. I learned to empathize more with people in need throughout this project
