Discussion on "Working on Inclusive Community" as part of #PRABUHI4PEACE Projects

As Scouts we are taught to help disable people in many ways we can; but what we recklessly didn't learn so far is that they might be do not accept the favor as help; sometime it's even cost them discomfort feeling of being pitied. Promoting Inclusive Community is to educate all of us to accept disable people as part of our society not as aliens or left-behind group of people. Their disability will wonderfully inspire and teach us more than gave us troubles. These issues are important when we're talking about building peace in our own neighborhood. So, this beautiful Thursday afternoon, we decided to present two Brazilian Self-Organised Volunteers who had visit more than 5 countries in a year to work for the community and disable people as the key speakers. About 25 participants of this discussion felt and absorbed the eye opener sharing from they both, as well as receiving new knowledge and understanding from two of blind teachers we invited. We do hope this new understanding and eye opener inspirations will be spread out by these participants, and they will develop more peaceful and respectful attitudes towards disable people.
