" The dialogue on Peace continues vigorously in Bhutan"

25 Rover Leaders were trained as Unit Leaders during the Basic Unit Leaders Training in a small town in the southern District of Bhutan. The Rover Leaders were College Lecturers and Professors of all the Colleges and Institutes in Bhutan. The seven day training covered the basic scouting skills and rovering program. Three additional days were utilized for MoP modules and all of the 25 participants were inducted as local messengers of peace ambassadors for their respective colleges. The team of 8 BSA Officials coordinated the training sessions and managed the program. The Participants were engaged in community development projects, community service and many challenging activities. 25 new profiles were created for MoP Bhutan. A two day rover journey were practically conducted and experienced by the Participants. Four community Projects were undertaken by the team as a sample fixed activities and projects by the participants. Overall a successful training for Bhutan. The team also cleaned and white-washed an ancient Stupa in the locality. The team also cleaned the hot spring wells in the community used by thousands of people all over Bhutan. Several cars were washed as a gesture of peace, goodwill and friendship for the people in the local car service center.
