Dhamma School Painting - 38th Colombo Scout Troop

I have been going to the Sri Wijayarama Raja Maha Viharaya temple from a young age for religious functions and always noticed how the teachers and students at the Dhamma school worked with untidy desks and bunks. When i came to my President's Scout award syllabus and got the opportunity to do a Community Service project i realized now was my chance to help these people out.
The project was implemented at Sri Wijayarama Raja Maha Viharaya and was implemented on 2 days. On the first day the pre coat on the newly built tables was applied. On the second day, the hall in which the Dhamma School was cleaned and the new tables were painted alongside several of the existing tables
Several people who work with the Dhamma School have benefitted. The chief incumbent benefitted from not having to incur huge costs to renovate the Dhamma School. The temple carpenter benefitted from having us scouts reduce his potential workload and the teachers and students of the Dhamma School benefit from having clean, well painted desks and bunks to work with
learnt how i can Organize an event of my own with the support of other individuals, how to co=ordinate resources and time effectively, how to help others in their tasks and lead them successfully and gained a greater understanding of society and how to overcome problems piece by piece
