Developing skills of scouting(Nachung and Nazhoen)

After done with 14 batch leadership training there was this vital need for the leaders to lead the youngsters to a brighter future whereby they would be more self disciplined as well as be intellectually responsive to the changes taking place. Hence, as envisioned by HM Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the programs where by making the younger ones known of the self leadership and having positive energy for a positive development.
The program was carried out bay 12 youth leaders to 168 scouts including 4 scout masters for about 6 hours. The program was to built and provide skills to Nachung scouts (8-11years) and Nazhoen scouts (12-17years). The scouting in children were enhanced in two bases each of which, at one first aid was tough and the basic drills. The youth leaders also thought new scout who were not scared yet, the drill for the investiture ceremony.
The sense of scouting in children were best enhanced by activities held in two bases each of which, at one first aid was taught and the other some basic drills. These helped the participants to know about various ways they could help themselves as well as others in time of emergency. Overall, the program was a great success with the scouts filled with excitement and expectations to be a better and to be more knowledgeable about scouting.
Scouting creates a bond and a bridge which can unite the younger generation. Such programs if held frequently will attract our youths, help them excel in studies and channel their energy for positive development. To make such a program enhanced we need more of game plays and team building activities.
