Developing Nature Park: A Community Service
I took up this initiative to make the learning institution conducive.
To instill the values of volunteerism, and to keep the pace of healthy living on the institution campus. The scouts and Y-VIA members were brought together to beautify the ugliest site on the campus to have it look natural.
The project was executed on the school campus. We decided to develop the nature park after the regular class time.
Children could learn the value and sense of volunteerism.
Children also learned how to nurture nature.
They learn to develop interpersonal skills, decision making, and collaborating with each other in a team.
We can still continue working on it.
Improve more skills to make things better and a better place to live.
