Debate competition on Population Education.

Population Education is an educational programme which provides for a study of population situation of the family, the community, nation and world,a rational and responsible attitude and behaviour towards that situation. One of the formidable problems which stare us in the faces, is our rapid increasing population, which offsets every endeavour for development. factual knowledge about population dynamic,so that the younger generation may understand the rapid population growth.
On the date of 21/05/22 we are members of Bhagat Singh Rover Crew of N.F Railway, Alipurduar district association organise a Debate competition on Population Education. We start our project on 12 pm and ends on 2:30 pm, in this project eleven members of our crew participated and make the program a grand success. We divided our crew between five teams with two members each and give them some topics like increasing population of India, how to prevent it, Rover’s contributions on population etc.
Through this project we the Bhagat singh Rover crew members learned that, It is essentially related to human resource development. It is not only concerned with population awareness but also with the developing values and attitudes which take care of the quality and quantity of population. It must explain to the students cause and effect relationship, so as to enable them to make rational decision on their own behaviour on population matters.
Thought this debate project we discussed how to prevent overpopulation ●Have fewer children. ●Consider adoption! ●Read, educate yourself about population issues ● share your household with others, and more. Educate your teenage children about sex and contraception early, without taboos.
