Cycling is good for health and future

In April 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 3 as International World Bicycle Day. The resolution for World Bicycle Day recognizesd "the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries, and that it is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transport." In this purpose We are the members of Master Da Surja Sen Rover Crew also organised a cycle rally with the scouts and guides ,
In this day almost 50 numbers of Scouts and Guides , Rovers and Rangers started our cycle rally from divisional scout hut then we went to Nonai river then on the pucca street we reached scout hut which was 10 km almost . When we did go we also mentioned full safety rule like which side we should ride our cycle and how to cross a street and also how to cross a busy crowd
World Bicycle Day is a special day meant to be enjoyed by all people of regardless of any characteristic. The bicycle as a symbol of human progress and advancement ".It also promotes tolerance, mutual understanding and respect and social inclusion and a culture of peace. "The bicycle further is a "symbol of sustainable transport and conveys a positive message to foster sustainable consumption and production, and has a positive impact on climate."

In several parts of the world, cycles are still a mainstream mode of transport, and are becoming more popular in India too. India is the second largest cycle industry in the world and the world's third largest consumer of bicycles, we need to continuing the progress by riding Bicycle everyday.Also learned how a cycle riding make our health sound and make active .
