Covid19 Frontline Duty-International Border Patrolling and Lockdown Duty

As a scout and a Guardian of Peace, I coordinated and led 20 Desuups who are scout masters as well as Desuups in Jangchubling MSS and Lhayul PS of Sarpang Dzongkhag to 2 months of International Border Patrolling of 6 hours a day. Besides International Border Patrolling, we have been actively keeping up with OP duty for 2 months in keeping our Chhudzom Gewog safe from Covid19 after coordination meeting with Gewog Administration and familiarization of the Gewog Contingency Plan. It's been a month and half with OP duty and now continuing with lockdown duty. We work with the Dzongkhag Covid19 Taskforce. Just the 20 of us cover 10 chiwogs that fall under our Areas of Responsibility everyday either patrolling, sensitizing, delivering essentials to the doors, monitoring home quarantined individuals and movement of vehicles, clearing roadblocks due to landslides, unloading FCB essentials or ensuring that all Lockdown protocols are followed.
