The Brunei Darussalam Scout Association is assisting the Ministry of Health (MoH) by deploying its members as volunteers during the COVID-19 Operation. The association mobilised a pioneer group of nine Adults in Scouting (AIS) led by Commissioner for Risk and Safety Management Skip Haji Janaidi bin Haji Gunong. It aims to provide immediate service and assistance to improve health, ensure public safety and support the basic subsistence needs and the morale of the affected people. The terms of reference were to assist in the logistics of receiving and supplying donated items at the Health Promotion Centre (HPC). The volunteer strength has grown from nine to 39 AIS since its engagement that started 18 Mac 2020 until 24 April 2020, with 27 deployed in shifts at the HPC and three at the Pusat Bahagia operations centre.
