Based on the current scenario of COVID-19 pandemic, an awareness program was conducted on 21 April 2020 ,under the Bharat Scout and Guide (Rover Crew) ,Maa Hira Neela Higher Secondary School, Biswanathpur Kalahandi,Odisha containing related information for tribal people, hand sanitizer and masks distributed as required and attempts were made to aware them of basic precautions measures to be undertaken to avoid its infection and spread. Instead to panicking the people were encouraged to wash their hands regularly, avoid gatherings and maintain at least 1 meter distance during interaction. The program gained overwhelming response in the form of queries and vow to spread the received message to other to combat the outbreak.
