Thousands of tribal families living at the edge of the forest are among the worst sufferers in this COVID-19 lockdown. The live hand to mouth and after the lockdown restricted them for the work,their life came to a standstill.In an effort to help the needy, Maa Hira Neela Higher Secondary School, Biswanathpur, Kalahandi,Odisha (Rover Crew) has come forward to do initiative to aware for underprivileged families and distribute Masks, soap and dry food rations. During the distribution all the safety and prevention measures were followed, such as maintaining distance from each other, covering one's face etc. Apart from the distribution of the Foot kit awareness of coronavirus and it's preventive measures were shared with the community, Emphasis was laid on stay at home,avoiding going out unnecessarily, using a mask or covering face with a cloth, washing the hand often with soap and avoiding Social gathering. The awareness drive was conducted in 3 village's of Lanjigarh Block (Gares,Adesuru,Salapanga) on date-29.04.2020 .
