Converting the Waste Meaningfully.

This school benifited with feeding of meals by the Royal Government of Bhutan beginning this year. The children of this school enjoy their share with varities of fruits and food which uplift the healthy food habit. Children were served with milk products too. However there was bit issue on dispossing the waste. Abruptly the decission was made in one of the staff meeting to manage it by Natchung Scouts by making it as flower pot and continue maintaining throughout the year.
The project took place in Chapcha primary School under Chhukha dzongkhag. The idea of converting waste into useful product was discussed in the staff meeting and shared with the Natchung Scouts. They liked the idea and hence proceeded.
Around 100 plus children and staff liked this display after the Natchung Scouts initiated the project. The window sills looked decorative and beautiful. Childen go and enjoy the beauty. The waste is being managed productively.
Any useless and waste materials can be converted productively if we work collaboratively. I would share this idea with rest of the colleagues in rest of the schools if they are facing the similiar issues.
