Community Service Done At Hungrel Gyem Lhakhang.

I have always been passionate about nature and biodiversity. I noticed that the area around the Hungrel Gyem Lhakhang had a lot of potential to support local plant life but was neglected. I was inspired to start this project to transform the space into a vibrant flower garden.

During the morning of 23rd May 2026, all the participants of National Scout Jamboree gathered at the National Scout Center Training Ground. After that, the camp coordinators divided us into five groups to do community services at different locations. I got the opportunity to do community service at Hungrel Gyem Lhakhang. When we reached at our destination, we swept the surroundings of the Lhakhang, done some weeding around the flower gardens, and made the soil soft inside the flower gardens.

Throughout this project, I learned about Leadership and Teamwork (Personal Growth). I learned that true leadership isn't just about having an idea, but about organizing steps effectively from getting permission to managing resources. I realized that a single person's initiatives can create a positive chain reaction in a community.
