To enhance civic responsibilities, inculcate a sense of belonging on this earth and develop genuine and unconditional love for Nature, on 5th June 2014, coinciding with the World Environment Day, Scouts along with CBS and Nature club members went for a mass cleaning campaign cleaning the whole stretch from our school till Thangzona, the common ground near Punakha Dzong. The children helped to write the theme of the day on a banner in order make the spectators understand the subject of the day. This campaign has helped us learn that we can, in our small ways, address some of the global issues by acting locally. Such kind of activity provides us the platform to prove that a scout loves Nature and also offer the chance for the adults to support.
