Community Religious Ceremony

First ever Community Religious Ceremony (Mangi Rimdro, Bhutanese term) was conducted for three villages: Jigme, Singye and Wangchuk. It was conducted mainly to spread the peace and happiness in the villages, the country and world at large. It ws also initiated to eradicate illness and misfortune in the life of community folks. At large, it will helps in instilling value of sharing happiness and building family bond through spiritual development. The head of Dogap Gaseling Monastery presided over the ceremony. More than 400 folks gathered to witness the ceremony and rcceive blessing. The program details: Saturday, 2 March 2019 Around 400 folks (including youths) gathered at 0800 hour to carry out preparation works for the real day ceremony. They worked up to 1600 hours in the evening. Sunday, 3 March 2019 The folks gathered at the Ceremonial site at around 0600 hour to witness the ceremony and carry out different tasks like cooking, water collection, to make the day successful one. The ceremony concluded at 1800 hour in the evening.
