Multi Sector Task Force and Community Based Support System meets the Community Based Scouting Members: I as the member secretary for the Multi Sectoral Task Force (MSTF) and focal person for Community Based Scouting in Tsirang brought together the members of members of the Community Based Support System (CBSS), MSTF and CBS at Barshong Gewog in Tsirang. Important topics like disaster management, children in conflict with law, gender issues and child care issues, and women's issues were some of the topical discussions therein. Mr. Karma Leki, Scout Secretary for DSA made a meticulous presentation on scouting principles and the roles of CBS for the community. I also invited the Scout Secretary to deliver the principles of scouting to the new CBS members, and was accordingly invested by the President (Commissioner of the District) of District Scouts Association (DSA) and District Commissioner (District Education Officer). Later in the evening, the CBS members in close cooperation with the senior scout leaders also conducted the evening program. 59 CBS members joined the program wherein 25 new members were invested while old members were awarded merit certificates. However, in total 75 participants were present during the entire session thence.
