Cloth distribution for homeless people
Houses of homeless people are usually located near stations or roads, where the wind always blows and they live on many streets. They have to face this sun, rain, winter. Eid-ul-Fitr is a day of joy for Muslims. Before Eid-ul-Fitr, everyone buys new clothes and rejoices, which we distribute among the poor and miserable people, they are happy and protected from sun, rain and cold.
We have volunteers from different units, 20 volunteers including myself implemented the project. Distribution of clothes was held among these homeless people in Shantinagar area. We raised funds internally, formed committees to buy food and clothes for homeless people and organized into groups of 1 led by a leader. Before the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, we have distributed clothes to the needy, through which they can celebrate their Eid beautifully.
I learned more about the plight of poor people who cannot afford decent clothes. As a result, they have to spend a lot of time in the sun, rain and cold. They basically live on the streets. It is almost impossible for them to buy new clothes for Eid, so they live with their old clothes. I learned to empathize more with people in need throughout this project, protected them from the rain and heat and gave them new clothes. That made them happy in eid.
