Cleanliness, Health & Waste Management Awareness
To create awareness among school children about the importance of cleanliness, personal hygiene, good health, and proper waste management. I was motivated to educate children about seasonal diseases, the harmful effects of addiction, waste segregation, and maintaining a clean environment through interactive activities and quizzes.
Rovers and Rangers of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Government College organised an awareness programme at a Government Primary School. Children were educated about seasonal diseases, personal hygiene, cleanliness, waste management, wet and dry waste segregation, and the harmful effects of addiction through posters and interactive sessions. A quiz competition was also conducted, and students received stationery items for correct answers.
We learned the importance of community awareness, teamwork, and educating children about cleanliness, personal hygiene, good health, and proper waste management. The programme helped us develop communication and leadership skills while encouraging children to adopt healthy habits, prevent seasonal diseases, and keep their surroundings clean.
