Cleaning Campaign by the Scouts of Dungtse CS
The scouts of Dungtse Central School had done cleaning campaign and community service on 8th May 2021. It was inspired the scouting principle that we need to do duty to other. The aim of the program is our place, it is our duty to keep it clean.
The program started at 9 am and ended at 1 pm. The scouts cleaned the roads and drain along the roads. They picked up wastes like plastics and papers. They advocated the public to keep their place clean.
They picked up more than 100 sacks of public wastes. The wastes were dumped in the proper place.
The road and public sites became neat and clean. The public appreciated the program.
The scouts learned that it is not wise to throw waste in open area. It pollutes our planet earth. The public and the scouts promised to keep their place clean thereafter.
