Cleaning Campaign

The idea of keeping our surroundings clean and motivating others to do the same inspired me to take up this project. I strongly believe that a clean environment shapes the way people think, act, and engage with their community. Seeing the importance of hygiene and orderliness around us encouraged me to initiate a project that would promote collective responsibility and environmental mindfulness.

The scout leaders including myself in my school initiated a cleaning campaign in the school campus to keep it neat and clean and make a conducive learning environment and a better place to live in. Campaign lasted about more than 3 hours and about 43kg of waste was collected. The campaign ended with the singing of yell and providing refreshments to the volunteers.

The project created a clear and positive impact on the school community. The campus became cleaner and healthier, and students grew more aware of the importance of proper waste disposal. It also encouraged responsibility, teamwork, and pride in maintaining the environment. Overall, the campaign improved both the school’s cleanliness and the mindset of everyone involved, inspiring more sustainable habits for the future.

Throughout this project I learned that conducting such programs not only helps in making the environment neat but also contributes in maintaining the climate change of the world by simply picking up waste. This also enhances a sense of humor and responsibility in the mind of every people.
