Nachung scouts of Chapcha PS organized cleaning campaign and clearing of the bush on the main way above Thimphu - Phuntsholing High way till School under Chapcha Gewog was done successfully. The activity was supposed to be carried on 13/5/17, however as it coincided with PHCB 2017 training it has to be postponed on 7/10/’17. The significant programme kicked off exactly at 1.30 pm after completing the inter house quiz competition on Saturday without disturbing the normal activity of the school. This was done purely for the benefit of the society and to sensitize the community on waste management. Sixers and second sixers were allotted their areas for clearing the bush with proper instruction from the Cub leader and rest of the members were made to collect the waste under my supervision. It is good to inform that there were of few waste materials compared to previous years which makes us to boost because of our yearly awareness programme. There were no casualties due to the blessing of the Kenchosum and as it serves for the good purpose. The activity took two hours which at 3.30 pm .After the refreshment every one left home with smile face and much satisfaction in their mind. They were overjoyed with their service rendered towards the community. Finally, leader thanked all for their helping hand and directed to move home along with their friends.
