Cleaner Streets, Greener Tomorrow
Our main inspiration was our commitment to a cleaner city and raising environmental awareness. As Scouts, we felt responsible to act when we saw dirty areas and lack of public consciousness. This clean-up campaign aimed not just to clean, but to spread a message of responsibility and community awareness.
We organized a city-wide clean-up campaign in Barguna with the help of our Rover Scout team. Dividing into small groups, we targeted key areas such as roadsides, markets, and public spaces. We collected trash, removed plastic waste, and engaged with the local community to raise awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and protecting the environment. This initiative helped improve the city’s appearance and encouraged responsible behavior among residents.
Throughout this project, we learned the importance of teamwork, community involvement, and consistent effort in maintaining a clean environment. We realized that small actions, when done collectively, can create a big positive impact. Additionally, raising awareness is key to encouraging others to take responsibility for their surroundings.
