The forest and water around Lake Conasauga, which is located on a mountain top between Ellijay and Chatsworth, Georgia, was cleaned by Pleasant Hills Montessori School's Pack 404. Pack 404 is located in Ellijay and worked in conjunction with Trout Unlimited. The boys, leaders and family members cleaned the area of trash via hiking and canoeing, while learning about their local forest and watershed. Lake Consauga was built as a CCC project during the Great Depression.
