Clean Walking service with Best of Miss finalists

As the first activity of the new year 2023, the Scout Troop of Yokohama 87 has planned the "Kamakura Walk Clean," a post-program of "Operation Plastic Waste Busters," which was conducted on a nationwide scale by the Association of Japan last year, is planned.

The Scout Troop of Yokohama 87, Japan, executed a clean walk service from Kamakura Station to Tsurugaoka Hachiman Shrine on Sunday, January 8, 2023. The cleanup service involved not only the Scouts of Yokohama 87 group but also the volunteers of ladies from the previous Kanagawa beauty pageant, Best of Miss.
Over 6,500,000 visiter came to Kamakura in 2023. Clean-up service will provide not only a Healthy Planet and Community but also a good impression of Japan and good memories for the visitors.

Being able to work with a group other than the Scouts gave the Scouts even more perspective. note: See more about the “PLAGOMI Busters“ at the World Scout Foundation site.
