A team of 34 scouts, guides, rovers and rangers render service to clean the bank of holy river ganga at Ichapur, west bengal state in India. On 5th June, 2019 morning the team organise a rally in the locality with posters, slogans, band and gathered at the pre decided spot with gloves, masks, bin bags, posters and after dividing small groups they started their service under the leadership of their patrol leaders. The bank of river Ganga between two bathing ghats was totaly covered with plastic and other garbages. Being personally protected themselves with masks, gloves, caps, they collected the garbages in different bin bags and carry them to nearby municipal garbage bin. Moreover they plant some saplings there to beautify the place and also fix some posters to aware people about environment. The local municipal authority praise them for their services.
