Health and hygiene: Cleanliness is closely linked to health and hygiene. As a member of the cleanliness committee, you contribute to the well-being of participants and help prevent the spread of diseases or illnesses that can be associated with an unclean environment.
10 Scouts Volunteered each day for 5 days, giving a total of 50 scouts. We were assigned to maintain the cleanliness of the venue. We assemble at the venue at around 8:00 in the morning, then we do a couple of rounds around the venue. Once we collect the garbage, we take them to the segregation area at the end of the day at around 2:00 in the afternoon.
Enhanced event experience: The focus on cleanliness and orderliness creates a more pleasant and enjoyable experience for everyone.. A clean and well-maintained environment contributes to a positive atmosphere during the event.
Improved health and hygiene: The implementation of proper waste management and cleanliness practices helps to ensure a healthier environment for everyone involved. Minimizing litter and maintaining cleanliness reduces the risk of illnesses and promotes hygiene standards.
Teamwork and collaboration: Working as part of a committee allows individuals to develop their teamwork and collaboration skills. They learn how to coordinate and cooperate with team members to achieve common goals.
Environmental awareness and sustainability: The project emphasizes the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainability. Participants gain a deeper understanding of the impact of waste management practices on the environment.
