Celebration World Earth Day

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. The official theme for 2023 is "Invest In Our Planet". So to Participate in the Earth Day 2023 the Rovers of Bharat Scouts and Guides, NF, Railway, Alipurduar District Association take some initiatives under the SDG Number 13. Climate Action.
On the date of 22/04/2023 the Rovers of Bharat Scouts and Guides, NF, Railway, Alipurduar District Association did youth events like Sapling Plantation, Awareness Rally with Cycle (to promote the pollution free Nation), Sanitation, Aware peoples to plant more and more saplings etc. At Kalkit Basti Alipurduar Junction.
The visible impact of the project is not possible on this type of events, but we aware almost more than 100 peoples resident at kalkit Basti, Alipurduar and plant 20 saplings at Netaji Park which again need time to create the impact we want. Our initiative was to covers SDG number 13 (Climate Action), and by this awareness and planting saplings we did it successfully.
Earth Day is a day to celebrate the Earth's environment and help raise awareness of threats to our planet's health. Earth Day takes place every year on April 22. One can learn about 'Earth Day' in order to figure out "how to help protect the Earth every day".
