National Youth Day was celebrated at Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides State Training Centre, Nerhema Kohima with 110 Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers and Adult Leaders. The celebration was jointly organised with the Nagaland State AIDS control Society under the theme "Chanelizing Youth Power for Nation Building." The participants were sensitized on HIV & AIDS awareness and took pledge to spread the awarewness and work towards elimination of stigma and discrimination.The Chief Medical officer of Naga Civil Hospital was the main guest speaker. The Participants also signed pledge to work for the spread of awareness and eliminate discrimation towards people living with HIV and AIDS.
