The international peace day was celebrated with the lighting of Butter Lamp and recitation of Prayer for the Peace of the World in the Lhakhang (Monastery) from 0530 hours to 0630 hours in the morning. About 85 scouts and 3 leaders organized the program for the day which included Reading of Message and informed the gathering on the importance of the Day. Towards the evening about 420 students and 15 teachers recited the prayers for the peace of all sentient beings. Class parents were briefed to inform their students on the importance of the day and why peace is important. In the morning we also did short meditation for the wellbeing of everyone and to pay gratitude to those who are involved in bringing peace in the world.
