Celebration of Earth Hour

Every year, earth hour is celebrated on the last saturday of March by switching off the light for one hour as a contribtion towards the conservation of energy in our own small way. We, the rovers of Royal Thimphu College, Bhutan, joined the world in marking the earth hour by taking part in "pass the candle challenge" organised by Boy Scouts of the Phillipines. Moreover, this hour was marked by Bhutan Scout Association by conducting earth hour challenge on the theme "Climate Action for Peace."

Topics included: Adults in Scouting, Spiritual Development, Youth Programme, Youth Engagement, Scouting and Humanitarian Action, Better World Framework, Diversity and Inclusion.

SDG: Affordable and Clean Energy, Climate Action, Good Health and Wellbeing, Life on Land, Responsible Consumption and Production.
