celebrating international Day of Education-2020
The theme of International Education Day 2020 is: 'Education for the People, the Earth, Prosperity and Peace'. The key is to play a central role in the integrated nature of education, humanitarian goals, and collective development goals. Education, including the acquisition of professional and vocational skills, is essential for inclusive growth.
If inequality in education is reduced, the opportunity for the deprived people to engage in good deeds is unobstructed. According to UNESCO's analysis, poverty can be halved if everyone completes secondary education in accordance with SDG-4.
There is a definite connection of education with the increase of individual income. In 139 countries, where an additional 10 percent of students can finish school, income growth is guaranteed. In this case, in poor countries where there is a shortage of skilled workers, the rate of increase in income is higher.
Government and private entrepreneurs have been trying for some time to come out of the skills crisis in Bangladesh. In this case, coordination between public-private initiatives and deep connection with the labor market at home and abroad, especially linking the demand for industry and trade with conventional education programs, is not yet expected.
