Celebrating Bangladesh Scouts Day but Differently
Every year we observe this day as one of our origin, this time we observed The Bangladesh Scouts Day with the theme "Scouting Korbo, Smart Bangladesh Gorbo'.We did not stop at only celebrating the day. We then went to our alma mater and inspired the students to become scouts. We gave them a little insight of Scouting by arranging a class on that day. We then, took the eager participants with us to a public food distribution event, that the district scouts head helped us to arrange. One of the most exciting part was that we cooked the food ourselves and distributed them, that's what scouting teaches us, is we believe.
We took advices and help from our local leaders and authorities to observe this day. We formed groups then divided our works, and successfully completed all of them.
This had a great impact on every scouts, especially the students who were eager to become a scout had a beautiful insight about scouting through this program.
We learned a lot about how scouting started in our country and region, and how we can be better human being in order to make a better world. We also learned to be a better human being with our second event for celebrating that special day
