Catanduanes Council Relief Ops. at Sitio Mamangal

Super Typhoon Rolly just wrecked havoc to the entirety of the province of Catanduanes. Help and assistance from the Government and other organizations both local and international have continuously arrived to the island, but the distribution is taking too long and people from far flung areas have received little to no relief goods at all. Seeing this problem, with the partnership with PLDC Catanduanes, the Catanduanes Council repacked all sorts of relief goods to be given to the chosen barangay.
With the partnership with PLDC Catanduanes and LGU Virac. Catanduanes Council was provided with a small truck to serve as transportation for both the goods to be given and the scouts that participated in the said activity. There was a total of 32 senior scouts and adult leaders that participated in the activity held at Sitio Mamangal, Virac, Catanduanes.
Thanks to this activity, the residents of Sitio Mamangal were given trapals, water, canned goods, rice, and other basic goods to help them get by everyday as recovery efforts from the damage that Super Typhoon Rolly left to their homes and lives continuous.
With this project, Catanduanes Council is taught/ reminded a quote from Jana Stanfield saying "We cannot do all the good that the world needs. But the world needs all the good that we can do."
