Car Festival (RATH YATRA) Service
Being scouts, we should undertake social responsibilities. As a part of it like all other years, this year also Odisha State Bharat Scouts & Guides organized a service camp at Puri for the world Famous Car Festival of Lord JAGANNATH.
On 29th June the said camp started at Puri. Earlier the advanced party reached there for the pre-management. Participants were trained on how to render their services. It includes sprinkling of water on the crowd, distribution of drinking water, facemask distribution, carrying the casualties to the ambulance, crowd control, maintenance of cleanliness, etc. On the final day, participants had done satisfactorily and attracted the attention of everybody.
Participants had highly impressed everybody as lakhs of people were benefited from their duties. They not only benefited temporarily but also were inspired to do such benevolent work.
From this, it was learned that perfect planning is required to get more success.
