Canal cleaning program
Bangladesh is currently one of the most polluted countries in the world. We are constantly polluting our Bangladesh. Chief among these is water pollution. As a result, when it rains, water rises on the road, causing problems for people to move. Even various diseases are spreading. Therefore, the canal cleaning program was held under the initiative of Dhaka City Corporation.
About 1000 volunteers from all over the country participated in the program called "BD Clean". 3 members from Orchid Open Scout Group participated in this program. 3 canals of Dhaka city were completely cleaned in this long 3 day program. In these 3 days we cleaned about 3 million tons of garbage. Most of these were plastic items. In these 3 days 3 canals were completely eco-friendly.
As a result of this program, people will not litter anywhere. Don't fill the canal with garbage. As a result water pollution will be reduced. Disease infestation will be reduced. We can leave a beautiful world for the next generation.
