As a result of the CBS Leadership Training & Local Messenger of Peace Coordinators' Workshop conducted last May 2016 in Gelephu, Bhutan, 50 Community based Scouts (CBS) conducted a two day community service project in a village where they needed help. The team consisting of school teachers, civil servants, youth volunteers undertook the project with the theme,: " When the Community needs, we ought to heed". The team spent about 8 hours everyday for paddy cultivation. The project was organized during the weekend. The team could spread the message of peace, love and happiness. The villagers were filled with glee.
