The Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Palawan Council held their BSP Provincial Scout Jamboree last December 7 - 11, 2016 with a theme : "Growth and Stability" The Jamboree was attended/participated over 1912 scouts and scouters in different private and public schools, institutions and volunteers all over Palawan, Philippines. The Opening Program was lead by Department of Education Asst. Regional Director Mr. Danilo Despi, school division superintindent of Puerto Princesa Mrs, Elsa Barrios and BSP National Board executive member Sctr. Pepito Carpio, and BSP Consultant of Sta. Rosa Laguna Council. The Boy Scout activity of Palawan Council aims to develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of each scouts and scouters by participating in different activities like Fire safety and Fire Fighting taught by Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Water Safety and swimming taught by Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Obstacle Course, and some high sdventure.
