BSG Membership Growth (Phase II)

 The primary objective of the BSG Membership Growth: Spear 4.5 Million Scouts (Phase II) was to actively indulge and engage young people and adult leaders across the country in a constructive methodology to additionally formulate 1 Million Scouts, thereby creating a robust community of 4.5 Million Scouts within the country. The motivation of creating a better world through enhancing the scout membership which will elevate service actions leading to a recognisable change in the society.

The project execution was undertaken through resourceful training mechanisms and awareness creation initiatives that was derived from the Messengers of Peace Programme that is prevalent in the country. The implementation was actively foreseen through the adult scout leaders who were responsible for imparting scouting spirit and inspiring other young people to influence the requisite change in the society through the scout movement and explore the wide scope of opportunities and harvest the knowledge oriented platforms inclined towards enhancing social benefaction.

Reaching out to 235557 beneficiaries through this secondary phase involved concentrated efforts of 45218 Scouts and 7289 adults while actively benefiting and engaging 183050 non-scouts across the country through meaningful advocacy and judicious engagement. This will in turn generate a profound positive impact on the effectiveness of scouts across the service domain owing to increased exposure and maximised availability of human resources  in the form of newly trained scouts.

New innovative ideas of reaching to young people, supporting the adult leaders in running the units and connecting them with the local membership growth coordinators team to secure any necessary support and guidance in specific. This project helped survive through a plethora of challenges including creating a safe and productive environment for securing promising outcomes without compromising on core scouting principles.
