Brincando de Reciclar (Recycling is Fun)
My motivation was to make a world a little bit more sustainable and the best way to start that is by starting with the kids, as in most part of the schools there are not a lot of projects which incentivate the sustainability.
First, I sent on the students' agendas a notification for the kids to bring recyclabe materials for an activity. The activity started with a brief talk about the 3R Reduce, Recycle and Reutilise as on SDG, then the kids were divided in groups to make toys with the product they have brought, creating something out of something which would be only considered as disposable.
I learned that a lot of kids not even know what items are recyclable and that the schools don't promote a lot this sustainable lifestyle, that the kids are not having access to this kind of information with so much emphasis lately.
And that incentivating this officine to be applied for all students would be great, cause the impact would be even bigger.
