Breath of Fresh Air: 100+ Trees Planted

We were inspired to start this project because we wanted to make our community greener and healthier. Seeing pollution and fewer trees around us motivated us to take action as Scouts. Planting more than 100 trees gave us a chance to protect the environment, bring people together, and show that small actions can create a peaceful and sustainable future.

We executed our project over five days, working about three hours each day with the help of our local community. Our Scout group divided into teams to dig holes, plant saplings, and water them, while community members supported us with tools and encouragement. By the end, we successfully planted more than 100+ trees, ensuring they were properly cared for and protected for the future.
We learned that proper planning and choosing the right location are essential for a successful tree‑planting project. Teamwork and community support made the work easier and more impactful. Most importantly, we realized that caring for the environment requires long‑term responsibility and that youth leadership can inspire positive change in society.
