Book Distribution Programme
Our country is a poor country. So develop this country, education is a powerful weapon. But many people are poor. So they don't afford to buy books. As a result they don't send their children to school. But Crystal Open Scouts started a free programme of book distribution for the children to educate people and implement development programme in Scout Char,Lalmonirhat . So implement this programme, we took part in this project.
Members of Crystal Open Scouts Group initiated the project on 03/18/2023 at Scout Char ,Lalmonirhat , Bangladesh in which 15 scouts participated actively. We arranged some textbooks and insufficient things and assist some respectable teachers of this school to distribute books and pen properly.
About 30 people benefited from this project. The impact of free textbooks distribution on retention rate of learners. The distribution of free textbooks is a support for the learner especially those learners who do not have an access to them. A good number of girl learners are now studing. Financially weak parents were motivated to send their children to schools and interest of learners towards learning has increased .
Through this project, we have learned that education is the backbone of a nation. We know about how it helped to increase retention rate, decrease dropouts, raise enrollment, improve daily attendance, increase passing rate of learners and enhance the quality of education.
