A Better Place For A Peaceful Society.
I conducted the project in the temple which is situated in my home town.
As a Buddhist and as a scout it is a duty of mine to make the Temple a better place for the villager. by the looks of the temple it hasnt been renovated ina long time due to the irresponsibility of the leaders. so i took this opportunity to renovate the Temple as the project so that this will be benifiting the present community.
The project was conducted in a small village Temple named Sri Purwarama Temple in Battaramulla. Alltogether 9 scouts were in the project and the the project was carried out very well and the Thero was very impressed.
As the project site was a Temple, I am not sure how many people will be benefited from the project but it will be benefited by a lot. It will help the people to do the religious activities more easily and especially more peacefully.
how to control and lead scouts towards a goal. And specially how much work can be done if all worked together.
