Beach Cleaning & Creating Awareness

Water is life. Neat and clean beaches keep the water bodies healthy which are now at the door of extinction. But these days this part of the earth gets more pollution. Keeping it in view our State Chief Commissioner advised to organise a Beach Cleaning programme.

After getting our notice, 362 nos. of Rovers & Rangers came forward to take part in this project. All of them along with 10 officials gathered at Konark. From there the journey started towards Chandrabhaga beach and forward around 40 kms. up to Puri Beach. On the way, the participants tried to clean the beach and make the public aware through slogans and holding placards. Though it was a strenuous work, the result was up to satisfaction.

We learnt that this type of programme should be done frequently to keep our earth pollution free.
