Beach Clean Up and Waste Management Education
Real implementation for scouts to become agents of change in waste sorting and management. This also includes providing education for the community regarding nature protection.
This activity is a form of support and collaboration with various parties initiated by Junior Chamber International Yogyakarta, in line with the action of the Scout Month of Service in 2023.
There were at least 200 scouts, communities, and people who actively participated in this environmental action.
There are approximately 900 thousand people in Bantul in particular and millions of people who will get comfort and safety at tourist sites and gain additional insight in managing waste.
This action is an important contribution to the planet that must start from ourselves, and can have an impact on the common good. The beach will be a clean, comfortable, and safe place for everyone.
