Beach Clean Up

To make the Cubs aware of the pollution that man is creating. How important it is to dispose of litter in a responsible manner. Always think reduce, reuse and recycle.
Our Litter Less project took place along the beach, from Sunset beach in Milnerton to Dolphin beach in Table View. The Meerkats, Cubs and Scouts along with the Scouters, all has to meet at Sunset beach and were handed gloves and special bags arranged with the City of Cape Town. Once they reached the end of the walk and filling up bags, (which disgustingly we could have used a lot more), collection was arranged with the City of Cape Town to collect the bags at a specific point.
The beach is very popular for kite surfers and families. There was a lot of litter that was cleaned up.
That not all humans are very caring and worry about the environment and what we may be leaving behind for future generations.
