Bandarku Ceria Amazing Race was held at Bandar Seri Begawan during the Bandarku Ceria every sunday. This programme is in collabration with the co-curricular department of Ministry of Education Brunei Darussalam. The aim of this programme is to help the government's initiative to cheer the town by implementing no car day from 6am - 10am, vendors selling foods and drinks along the road, many events going on that day (run, cycling, bouncer etc). Bandarku Ceria Amazing Race was organised by Brunei Rover scout supported by PPNBD and JPKK. (7 hours preparation) Amazing race was participated by scouts and non-scout. 100 people / 50 groups of 2 people joined the race with free registration. We were also helped by volunteers(non-scouts) who delightfully gave their hands without any demand. There were many games and activities included and the participants had to run all over the city to win the race. The games included are: - Solve the puzzle ( naming bruneiean food ) - Knots ( copying the demonstrated knots ) - Semaphore ( decoding the next clue ) - Puzzle ( finding a place ) - Find a person who held the next clue ( succeeding the mission ) The objectives are: - Promoting scout to the public - To support government initiative - As a practice to our young scouts by handling large number of people and how to handle projects source of information : Liyana Salleh, MoP Coordinator and Meena Mohammad
