Badge Course
We always crave for knowledge and skills. The only medium of exchange for the badges we earn in scouting is these two. The want of showcasing our knowledge and skills has motivated our scouts to arrange the badge course and participate in it. Moreover, we definitely got our eyes on the President's Scout Award!
The event took place on the field of our school. We placed some stations of specific badges for our scouts. Our senior leaders and mentors examined skills and knowledge of scouts so that they could reward the badges to the deserving scouts. Scouts, by maintaining discipline, successfully co-operated in the event.
This project helped our scouts in personal growth, character development and skill development. Through the event they enhanced their knowledge and successfully realised the importance of it. The scouts also grew a competitive mindset.
Learning we get from this programme is that knowledge is important. We should never stop searching for it to survive in this competitive world. We should make ourselves as skilled as possible to ease our life in this modern world.
