Awareness Session on Good Touch & Bad Touch
I was inspired to start this project because I believe that every child has the right to feel safe and protected. Many children are unaware of the difference between good touch and bad touch, which makes them vulnerable. By educating them, I wanted to empower children with knowledge, build their confidence, and ensure their overall well-being.
I executed this project by organizing an awareness session with children. During the session, I explained the difference between good touch and bad touch through simple language and examples suitable for their age. I also interacted with the children by asking questions to ensure they understood, and encouraged them to share their doubts. Visual aids and real-life situations were used to make the session more effective and easy to remember.
The project had a positive impact as children became aware of the difference between good touch and bad touch. They gained confidence to express themselves and understood the importance of sharing with trusted elders if they ever feel uncomfortable. This initiative helped in building awareness, safety, and a protective environment for children.
I learned that children are very curious and eager to understand topics related to their safety. I realized that using simple language, examples, and interactive methods makes them more comfortable and confident to ask questions. I also learned the importance of spreading such awareness regularly to ensure child protection.
