The Awareness Campaign was held on 26th October 2016 at Villivakkam Railway Station from 5 pm to 7.30 pm. The Campaign was inaugurated by Shri. Ravi Kumar, Traffic Inspector/VLK and Shri. Kamalakannan, GLS/Kamban Scout Group in the presence of our GLS, Shri. V. Arivazhagan. 28 members as 5 Scouters, 11 Rovers and 12 Scouts participated in the campaign. The Campaign issued pamphlets to the public in the station and models of crackers has been displayed on the platform. A Selfie pledge carrying the quote 'I pledge that i will not carry crackers in the trains and will celebrate a safe diwali' has been kept for the public to take selfie's and share it on their social walls. #DoNotCarryCrackersInTrains #SafeDiwali #Scouts #Rovers #SSG #MoP #BSGIndia
